February has been a positive month for the Riverhorse Valley Business Estate Management Association, with solid collaboration between our safety, cleaning and maintenance teams ensuring the precinct remains well managed and responsive.
A Safe and Secure Precinct
One minor public space incident was observed by our CCTV controllers this month; reaction officers were immediately dispatched, and the issue was quickly resolved.
Over 3140 Refuse Bags Collected
The cleaning, greening and maintenance of the precinct continues to run smoothly, with all teams working according to schedule and attending to ad hoc requests as they arise.
Despite the more than 120mm of rain that fell in February (with over 100mm recorded in one night), there was no damage to precinct infrastructure.
With the temporary closure of Prince Umhlangane Road, teams were able to take advantage of reduced traffic movement to clean the affected areas thoroughly. This provided a valuable opportunity to address sections that are typically more difficult to access during peak traffic periods.
We also conducted our monthly site visit with Servest Management, and it was encouraging to see the area looking well-maintained and in good overall condition. A total of 3147 refuse bags were collected this month.

As always, we appreciate the continued cooperation of our members and stakeholders. Through ongoing collaboration and consistent, on-the-ground work, we remain committed to ensuring Riverhorse Valley remains a safe, clean and well-managed business precinct.
