The past month saw continued progress in municipal service delivery across Riverhorse Valley, with a total of 13 faults attended to through active collaboration with eThekwini Municipality.
Water Infrastructure & Lighting Repairs and Upgrades
Water infrastructure and streetlighting remained key focus areas, with several interventions carried out this month, including:
- Repairs to water leaks across the precinct
- Installation of new water meters
- Streetlight repairs were carried out across Quarry Park and Queen Nandi Drive.
Road and Traffic Improvements
Improvements to road and traffic infrastructure contributed to safer and more efficient movement within the precinct. Key interventions this month included:
- Traffic signal replacements and repairs
- Refurbishment of road markings at key intersections
- Repairs to road surfaces and expansion joints on Hippo Park Avenue
- Verge maintenance along routes such as Queen Nandi Drive
Additional Municipal Maintenance Work
Further municipal interventions supported overall infrastructure upkeep during June. This included repairs to damaged concrete bollards in Imvubu Park Close and environmental maintenance within the Hulettβs Bush area along Hippo Park Avenue.
