Sections of railway cable was recovered by the RHVBE security team after a suspect was detected by our control room monitors in the early hours of the morning on 29th June stealing railway cables. The suspect fled after seeing the reaction vehicle but was chased and apprehended. He was handed over to Transnet protection officers.
