Protest action took place in the RHVBE during the early hours of this morning, 9 November 2020. The protest started around 04h20. SAPS were on the scene shortly after being alerted and the protesting crowd had dispersed by 06h30. Thankfully, there has been no damage to precinct property. Our security team is continually monitoring the situation for any flare-ups and the RHVBE cleaning team was on site soon after the crowd dispersed to clean up the aftermath of the protest. The Management team is trying to get hold of the Ward Councillor to understand the reasons motivating the protest action.
