This weekend a RHVBEMA CCTV controller noticed three males loitering along the riverbank near Prince Umhlangane Road and tyres floating in the river. He immediately notified the reaction team who responded promptly. Upon approach, the suspects fled but the reaction team recovered the truck tyres from the river. A quick investigation showed the suspects had just broken in and held up security guards at a company just outside the precinct. The guards were tied up and the tyres and battery removed from a truck parked inside the business’ premises. The recovered items were returned, and SAPS was notified. Great work and a job well done by the RHVBEMA security team.
