As January draws to a close, our cleaning and greening teams have been hard at work catching up on essential maintenance tasks following the festive break and recent rains. Their efforts have ensured that Riverhorse Valley remains a neat, green, and welcoming precinct.
Grass Cutting and Tree Maintenance
The recent rains led to rapid vegetation growth, and teams focused on grass cutting across various areas, including Prince Umhlangane Road, restoring tidy verges and pathways. Additionally, fallen tree branches were cut and removed to maintain safe and accessible spaces throughout the precinct.

Rubble Removal
Rubble removal has been another priority this month, clearing debris to keep public areas clean and functional, reinforcing the professional image of the precinct.

Ground Preparations and Landscaping Enhancements
- Ground Preparation for Grass Planting: Work began at Riverhorse Close, where ground preparations were completed for future grass planting to enhance greenery in the area.

- Entrance Feature Landscaping: The landscaping at the precinct’s entrance was given special attention. Teams focused on weeding and refreshing the feature, transforming it into a well-manicured space that reflects the high standards of the precinct. Before and after images pictured below:

These initiatives ensure that Riverhorse Valley continues to thrive as a clean and attractive environment for all. The efforts of our cleaning, greening, and maintenance teams remain vital in preserving the precinct’s appeal.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to maintain the beauty and functionality of Riverhorse Valley.
