In November, nine of the old cameras in the Riverhorse Valley Business Estate were replaced with nine new state of the art PTZ (pan, tilt & zoom) cameras. The cameras that were removed were installed in 2006 and had therefore reached the end of their usable life span. The new cameras are of superb picture quality and stability, and will allow for better monitoring of RHV. There has also been upgrading of the RHVBE control room as well to ensure that the new equipment communicates well with the control room.
