Recent efforts have ensured that Riverhorse Valley remains clean, green, and well-maintained. Hereโs a look at the activities carried out earlier this month.
Management Association Activities
The Management Associationโs teams have been busy with several key tasks:
- Hedging: The team has been working on the hedging along Corobrick Road, improving the appearance and health of the area.
- Euphorbia Removal: Efforts have been made to remove Euphorbia from Riverhorse Road, addressing invasive plant species to promote better ecological balance.
- Preparation for New Planting: Areas have been prepped for new plant species, enhancing the aesthetic and environmental quality of our precinct.
Additionally, our alien invasive control teams have made significant strides in managing invasive species. They collected 400 bags of litter from the river and waterways and sprayed invasive plants to prevent their spread.
Municipal Updates
- The eThekwini Roads Department: This month, the Roads Department focused on repainting faded road markings along Corobrick Road, enhancing road safety and visibility.
These combined efforts from both the Management Association and the Municipality ensure that Riverhorse Valley remains a clean, green, and well-maintained precinct. We appreciate the ongoing support and collaboration from all parties involved.
