Last week RHVBEMA’s alien invasion control team collected a staggering 480 bags of litter from the uMhlangane river, following heavy rains from earlier in the month. Regular cleaning of such large amounts of litter has a positive knock-on effect on the entire wetland. The RHVBEMA cleaning teams are continually working to keep the precinct looking immaculate with daily cleaning and scheduled maintenance around the Riverhorse Valley Business Estate. Over the past week, the team maintained flower beds, weeded and hedged parts of the precinct, and cleaned up leaves. Good work team!
