Due to the recent heavy rains, the uMhlangane River slightly changed its course at our west pump station, unfortunately, this meant that water couldn’t go to the water extraction sump resulting in the reservoir not being filled. The area around the sump needed to be dug up, with big rocks added into the river to channel the water towards the sump again. This task was completed last week and the sump was cleaned and is back to normal operation now. Well done team!
