Focused maintenance and fresh plantings keep RHV precinct in top shape

The Riverhorse Valley precinct continues to uphold its clean, green, and well-maintained standards thanks to the diligent work of our cleaning, greening, and maintenance teams. With weather playing a factor earlier this month, strong winds brought down tree branches and scattered debris, the teams were quick to respond, clearing fallen branches, broken foliage, and excess litter to ensure the area remained safe and accessible.

A key focus during this period was on detailed maintenance, including the clearing of v-drains and the replanting of gardens that required seasonal attention or were damaged in the wind.

Landscape rejuvenation and garden replanting

The landscaping team carried out several replanting projects across the precinct. Notably, the gardens outside Courier Guy in Imvubu Park Place and the Engen garage in Quarry Park Place were refreshed with new plantings, bringing a clean and vibrant appearance to these high-traffic areas.

Ongoing invasive species control

As part of our continued efforts to manage invasive vegetation, the alien invasive control team undertook full grass cutting along property boundaries and resumed trimming of overgrown trees. The team also completed full rear boundary cuts along Kubu Avenue, helping to maintain line of sight and reduce overgrowth in these buffer zones.

These collective efforts contribute to the overall safety, functionality, and visual appeal of Riverhorse Valley. We appreciate the ongoing commitment of our precinct teams in ensuring that the area remains a well-managed business environment.
