Following heavy rains this past Saturday, the Umhlangane River overflowed, causing flooding on Prince Umhlangane Road. We’re pleased to inform you that the river and wetlands have calmed, and Prince Umhlangane Road is now open.
While our morning assessment revealed no significant infrastructure damage in the precinct, the east side, especially along Prince Umhlangane Road and Island Circle, is affected by mud and rubble. Our cleanup and maintenance teams, along with alien invasive control teams, are prioritizing the cleanup.
