Cleaning, greening and maintenance of the precinct is going well, and the area is looking clean and tidy. Over and above daily sweeping and litter picking, the teams this week attended to the following notable work:
- Replanted the garden around the entrance signage at the corner of Effingham and Corobrick Roads
- Grass cutting on various areas
- Tree rings maintenance
- Removal of rubble from Riverhorse dumpster to Springfield dump site
The alien invasive control teams attended to the ongoing clearing of the water hyacinth from the dam, cutting boundary and fence lines at various areas, and litter collection from the river and waterways.
